MR. TURNER'S GEOGRAPHY CLASS

 

Social Studies (seventh grade): Students learn to discover the theories and problems
concerning world politics, world geography, social behavior, economic structures, and
physical land formations. Also, the course is designed to gain an understanding of the
cause and effect relationships in reference to the events and people that have shaped the countries of the world.

                 Bell ringer: Read "Journalists in Russia"  pg. 341 

                 After reading the bell ringer answer the following questions:

                1. Where did the journalists travel?

                2. Name the prayer cloth worn by Buryats?

                    Complete the section 1 review questions 1-5 (if not completed in class it is                                   homework)

                    If the students completed the graph in class on Wednesday omit #5 from the review

                    questions

                    Review and close

 

 

Friday: Russia

               Discuss the review questions from Thursday

          Current events

               Make up day

               Review and close
