Current Assignments for Literature and Skills

Week of November 17-21
Skills
Monday: Descriptive Essay sloppy copy due on Tuesday, November 18th.
Tuesday: Find the simple predicates in every sentence of your descriptive essay. For help, refer to this website, Simple Predicate Help .
Wednesday: If not completed last night, students must find the simple predicates in their descriptive essay. Students must have a printed or handwritten copy for class tomorrow.
Thursday: If not completed in class, students in 1/2nd & 6/7th hours must find 15 or 20 simple predicates to replace and make changes to from their essay. They do not have to rewrite their essay for tomorrow. In 4/5th hour, students need to replace and add at least 20 adjectives to their descriptive essay.
Friday: No homework! Complete blue sheet if not completed in class.
Literature
Monday: Review script parts for "A Christmas Carol".
Tuesday: No homework!
Wednesday: No homework!
Thursday: Review script parts for "A Christmas Carol".
Friday: No homework! All students should have their parts from "A Christmas Carol" memorized by Monday, December 1st, unless specifically told differently.
