Fulton Jr. High: Curriculum

Academic Progress Report Descriptions

August 01, 2008

Fulton Jr. High Academic Progress Reports
Listed below is a brief description of the academic progress reports that students may receive at Fulton Jr. High.

Report Cards and Deficiency Notices
Grade Report cards are issued every nine weeks. If a student is doing unsatisfactory work during a grading period, the parent/guardian will receive a "Deficiency Report" from the teacher during the fifth week of the grading period. A deficiency report may also be issued at other times at the teacher's discretion if the student is in danger of failing a class.

Reports of Academic Progress
In addition to report cards and mid quarter deficiency reports, parents may request, in writing, to have "progress reports" issued for one or more classes. The reports are sent home approximately two weeks following the mid quarter deficiency reports. Progress reports will not be issued for students receiving A's and B's in their classes.
