Vision Statement: It is the hope of the district to develop lifelong learners who are confident in the use of technology to solve problems, access knowledge, think critically, and work collaboratively on challenging, authentic, multidisciplinary activities. It is our commitment to provide the necessary technological, human, and financial resources so that all learners will be able to succeed in life and become productive citizens. |
District Technology Goals:

To increase the level of interest, involvement, and commitment to technology between the school District and community while developing active working partnerships.

Increase in all schools in the District, the level of engaged learning practices, which allow students to be more actively involved in the learning process through challenging, authentic, and multidisciplinary activities while utilizing appropriate technology.

Provide all staff members with the training and support they need to become proficient in the use of various learning-related technologies and their understanding of engaged learning strategies so they can provide students and the community with technological growth and direction.

Provide the technological infrastructure, hardware, software, and support to provide opportunities for engaged learning and meet the educational needs of the District and the community.

Establish a process that would ensure the technology will not become obsolete in the future.
